Abstract

This paper proposes an analytic-creative approach to the resources brought by music into a psychological treatment of children which, as a result of their circumstances, do not present a proper general development for their age. They may have as well behavioral difficulties, which may be explained by the traumatic events and situations they have undergone. Thus, an analysis of three cases in which music has been used as an axial element of the treatment is made, bringing a contextual explanation for the fact that, considering the hardness of the task, significant advances have nevertheless been accomplished.
