Abstract

Seizure generalization appears to be important for successful antidepressant response to ECT, and seizure indicators are closely monitored to inform treatment course. Yet, little is known about the neurobiology of ECT-induced seizures, despite a rich MRI literature measuring long-term neuroplasticity after ECT. This presentation discusses prediction of seizure and antidepressant outcomes in ECT using pre-treatment MRI.
