Abstract
Objective To analyze the MRI features of orbital cavernous hemangioma and to improve the diagnostic accuracy with MRI.Methods 23 patients with orbital cavernous hemangioma were proved by surgical pathology,underwent plain scan and dynamic enhancement scan.Results 23 cases of orbital cavernous hemangioma showed isointense or slightly hypointense signa on T1MI,hyperintense signa on T2W,hyperintense signa on FLAIR,isointense or slightly hyperintense signa on DWI,21 cases of orbital cavernous hemangioma demonstratedprogressive enhancement.Conclusion progressive enhancementis a pathognomonic sign of orbital cavernous hemangioma which differentiates it from other tumor,MRI has a high value of localization and qualification in the diagnosis of orbital cavernous Hemangioma.
