Abstract
To all who knew him the death of Mr. A. K. Glover on October 27 at the age of 68 will mean the loss of a charming personality. He started his business life by being apprenticed to W. Watson & Sons, Opticians, in High Holborn. At a later date he was sent to Birmingham to open a branch, which was subsequently transformed into a separate business with W. Watson (junr.) as a partner. After Mr. Watson's retirement, Mr. Glover carried on this business alone.
