Abstract

The Massively Parallel Petri Net Language, based on the concept of massively parallel Petri Nets, is defined. It allows for representation and description, for prediction and analysis of the behaviour of parallel (SIMD and MIMD controlled) computers. An example of its use, which validates the pyramidal architecture SPHINX, is given.
