Abstract

In this paper, a new method for blind watermarking in MPEG-2 standard video system is proposed. In this method, Walsh codes are used for coding watermark bits in spread spectrum. The watermark information vector (WIV) is obtained by applying DCT on the coded watermark bits. The watermarked video is transmitted with a few alternations in comparison of the host video. Therefore, the peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR), influenced by watermarking, is high in this method. Simulation results express reasonable resistance versus most of typical attacks and bit rate has a trivial increment in this method.
