Abstract
The “Manchester” procedure, consisting of the association of anterior colpectomy with fixation of Halban’s fascia to the uteric isthmus, cervical amputation and posterior perineorraphy is designed for the treatment of vaginal prolapse. Prior hysterectomy precludes this procedure. Neither prosthetic material nor bone anchoring is needed.
