Abstract

Women with a history of vesicovaginal fistula from obstructed labor often have difficulty achieving and maintaining subsequent pregnancies, likely due to cervical and uterine damage. In those that are able to conceive, elective delivery by cesarian section (C-S) is recommended. Little is known about fetal outcomes and fistula recurrence in patients with a history of VVF repair who present for C-S.
