Abstract

The use of waveform diversity and angular diversity provides significant improvements in the performance of Multi Input Multi Output (MIMO) radar compared to the conventional radars and the phased array radar systems. One of these improvement areas is the success of moving target detection. In this paper, the moving target detection performance of a MIMO radar with a Neyman-Pearson detector which includes space time codes explicitly is investigated.
