Abstract

The paper presents an analysis of basic problems of signal formation by a moving object as problems of wave radiation and reflection with allowance for moving boundaries. The inverse problem is considered: reconstruction of the law of displacement of an object based on the known shape of the probing and reflected waveforms. The spectrum of the harmonics generated by reflection from an incrementally moving and oscillating obstacle is found. The correlation function of the noise emitted by a moving object is calculated. General considerations about the transient radiation of a flying body in restrained urban conditions are presented.
