Abstract

While still no great literature, version (2) is decidedly more readable than version (1), and student A receives a good grade. B's paper, however, has now come to look like this: (3) Yesterday, an old man I saw whose dog's leash, attached to a bright orange collar, attracting a small child, was held in his hand. Not wanting to be grabbed by the child, the dog broke its leash with a hand-hurting tug whose subsequent effect was the transfer of the hand into use as a spanking instrument applied to the attracted, dog-grabbing child.
