Abstract
Recommendations are made regarding the design of the motor-gear link in an integrated motor-transmission system. Algorithms are presented for calculating a cylindrical involute gear transmission with a small number of pinion teeth, the glued joint of the pinion with the gear system’s input shaft, and the pinion body.
