MOTIVASI DAN IMPLIKASI PENGGUNAAN MEDIA SOSIAL FACEBOOK DIKALANGAN PEMUDA DIDESA NYIUR TEBEL

Abstract

The existence of Facebook social media at the moment in Nyiur Tebel Village makes it easy for all groups, especially young people who are struggling in the business field. This is evident from the results of research that young people use or utilize Facebook social media in various ways Facebook social media also gives a big influence on people's lives, especially among young people. As for the motivation that arises include: youth tend to spend more time on social media compared with family and friends, Facebook social media as a promotional event, Facebook social media strengthen social relationships and as for the positive implications resulting from the motivation to use Facebook social media, among others improving the economic level of the youth, making it easier to expand knowledge and knowledge. And negative implications include: reduced social relations with the surrounding environment, forgetting the time when playing social media. This research aims to find out the motivations and implications of using social media facebook among young people in Nyiur Tebel Village. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of descriptive research. Data collection techniques used are interviews and documentation. While the data analysis technique used is interactive model qualitative data analysis through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. Based on the results of the study it can be reported that the motivation of young people in the village of Nyiur Tebel in using social media both social media Facebook or other social media has many benefits as well as negative implications. If it is not used wisely or is not properly addressed, the use of social media, especially Facebook social media, can actually make it difficult for young people to socialize with those around them.
