Abstract
In the rotating gradient experiment (RGE) the magnetic bubble is translated in a continuous circular motion by a rotating bias field gradient. In this work, the RGE is used to study the motion of an S=1 magnetic bubble in the presence of an rf magnetic field perpendicular to the film plane. Resonant effects are observed in the translational velocity vs. drive field relation when a constant amplitude varying frequency rf bias field component is applied. These resonant effects are measured and compared with theoretical predictions.
