Abstract

The research aimed to investigate the strategies utilized by teachers in Bakun, Benguet. One hundred teachers from Grade I to Grade III participated by completing questionnaires, and supplementary information was gathered through interviews conducted after classes and during seminars. Statistical analyses including t-tests, Pearson Product Moment Correlation, and analysis of variance were employed to analyze the data. The findings indicate that the utilization of learning materials in the implementation of MTB-MLE emerged as a significant issue, followed by concerns regarding the teaching-learning process and professional development among respondents. The remedies utilized in addressing teaching-learning processes, learning materials, and professional development were found to be both highly utilized and effective. Furthermore, a strong correlation was observed between the extent of remedy usage and its effectiveness in addressing challenges related to the implementation of MTB-MLE. Increased usage of remedies corresponded with higher effectiveness and contributed to reducing implementation challenges faced by teachers.
