Abstract

Pure SAPO-34 zeolite was synthesized by recycling mother liquor. The effects ofsynthesis methods and mother liquor addition on the physical and chemical properties and the MTO catalytic performance of SAPO-34 zeolite were investigated. The results showed that compared with traditional hydrothermal method, the mother liquor induced method significantly reduced the dosage of template. Sample synthesized with lower template dosage exhibited mesopores to a certain extent, the crystal size was also significantly reduced with moderate acidity. As a result, the catalytic performances of as-prepared SAPO-34 showed significant prolonged life time of 350 min with an improvement on olefins (C2H4+C3H6) selectivity.
