Abstract

Objectives: To address, through a literature review, the importance of radiological and tomographic findings in cases of greenstick fracture. Methodology: This is a literature review work in which the Pubmed, Scielo and BVS database was used, addressing the characteristics in radiological examinations in the area of ​​medicine in general, in patients affected by greenstick fracture, using the keywords “Fracture”, “Tomography”, “Distal third”. Results: 10 significant publications were found. The analysis occurred through analytical and interpretative readings. It was found that diagnostic imaging methods are an important part of managing patients with major fractures. Final considerations: Imaging exams were highlighted as relevant for the management of this pathology and the lack of clinical imaging findings in the literature, which justifies the importance of further studies on the subject.
