Abstract
By and large, meals in care homes in England for older people are meeting or bettering the minimum standards required, according to a new report from the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI). Surprisingly, care homes with nursing had greater difficulty in meeting standards than those without - only 79 per cent of those with nursing staff made the grade compared with 86 per cent of homes without nurses.
