Abstract
Anopheles albimanus Wiedemann, A. stephensi Liston, Aedes aegypti (L.), A. albopictus (Skuse), A. taeniorhynchus (Wiedemann), Culex pipiens pipiens L., and Culiseta inornata (Williston) were exposed to the fungus Coelomomyces punctatus Couch and Dodge, whose natural mosquito host is Anopheles quadrimaculatus Say. Of the test species only A. stephensi proved to be susceptible to infection.
