Abstract

We demonstrate the excellent hole-transporting ability of molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) by applying one-dimensional (1D) and two-dimensional (2D) mixed MoS2-single-walled carbon nanotube (MoS2-SWCNT) heterostructures to perovskite solar cells. The CVD-synthesized MoS2-SWCNT functions as both the hole transport layer and anode at the same time. Compared with bare SWCNT, the wrapping of 1D/2D MoS2 around SWCNT improved the power conversion efficiency (PCE) by almost 20%, owing to the substantial enhancement of the fill factor. A PCE of 15.0% has been achieved after the application of 2,2′,7,7′-Tetrakis-9,9′-spirobifluorene (spiro-MeOTAD).
