Abstract

Various wound closure techniques such as suturing, staples, tissue glue, or adhesive tapes are available. Adhesive surgical tape strips (Steri-Strips, 3M, St. Paul, MN) and tissue glue are not feasible for wounds with tension or oozing (Fig 1, A).1 Suturing and staples are invasive methods that demand additional cost and sometimes may leave cross-hatching marks.1
