Abstract

(BJOG 2016;123:393–398) Parents who have suffered a perinatal loss experience a mourning process. Certainly the loss of a fetus or neonate would fit into this category. The aim of this study was to analyze mortality in mothers who have experienced a perinatal loss and explore possible underlying mechanisms.
