Mortalitet od hroničnih nezaraznih respiratornih bolesti na teritoriji Šumadijskog okruga

Abstract

The aim of this work is to overview a mortality of chronic non-communicable respiratory diseases - HNRD on the territory Šumadia district. As data sources, we used data of the Republic Statistical Office, upon which are calculated standardized mortality rates of chronic non-communicable respiratory diseases by sex and age, and participation chronic noncommunicable respiratory diseases in total mortality on the territory Šumadia district for the period 1998-2008. Mortality rate of HNRD in Šumadia increased by 27%, from 19,48%000 in 1998. to 24,77%000 in 2008. HNRD mortality was higher in men than women. The analysis of age-specific mortality rates of chronic non-communicable respiratory diseases, we see that it is the highest (303,16%000) in the oldest age group 75 and over years, following age groups 70-74 years (118,83%000) and 65-69 years (104,29%000) The lowest values is in the age group 40-44 years (5,54%000), while in younger age groups there have been no fatalities.
