Morphometric characteristics of the lakes of the Pustynsky district of the projected National Park “Nizhegorodskoe Zavolzh’e”

Abstract

The paper presents the results of researching the morphometric and hydrological features of a group of lakes in the eastern part of the Pustynsky district of the projected National Park “Nizhegorodskoe Zavolzh’e” (Nizhny Novgorod Region, Russia). The lakes in question are the largest component of the hydrological system of the Serezha River basin on the territory of the Pustynsky district. The Seryozha River flows through most of the largest lakes, and its tributaries flow through some of them. Based on the conducted field studies, certain conclusions were drawn.
