Abstract
The anterior chamber angle is formed by the approximation of the root of the iris and the peripheral cornea. The importance of the anterior chamber angle lies in the fact that the main drainage pathway of the aqueous humor is located in this region, represented by the trabecular meshwork and Schlemm's canal. © 1996 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
