Abstract
Exposure of metaphase II (MII) mammal oocytes to cryopreservation process has been reported to cause disorganization of meiotic spindles (MS) and premature release of cortical granules (CG) without sperm penetration. The present study was conducted to observe morphology of vitrified human MII oocytes chronologically by polarization microscopy (Polscope), fluorescent microscopy and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) after thawing for determination of the best timing for ICSI.
