Abstract

Here we show the fabrication of the morphology-controlled self-assembled nanostructures based on the aromatic emitter dimethyl 2,5-bis((perfluorophenyl)amino)terephthalate (DPPAT) by using the drying under solvent atmosphere method. The experimental results indicate one-dimensional nanowires with high aspect ratio. Moreover, the corresponding nanostructures are strongly dependent on the experimental conditions such as concentration, applied volume and solvent atmosphere. In our case, wire growth seems to be favorable under solvent atmospheres with a high vapor pressure, while the polarity of the used solvent does not have a significant influence. Furthermore, flexible and thin wires can be fabricated with acetone, hexane and chloroform as the solvent atmosphere.
