Abstract

In situ spores of the fern Klukia tyganensis Krassil. from the coal-bearing deposits on the right bank of the Tyrma River (Berriassian, Bureya River Basin, Tyrma Depression) have been examined using light, scanning and transmission electron microscopy. The spores of K. tyganensis are demonstrated to be similar in the ultrastructure of sporoderm to that of some species of the extant genus Anemia and to differ from the spores of Lygodium in the ultrastructure of perispore and exospore.
