Abstract

Throughout the history of the Norwegian-Greenland Sea, the still active Mid-Oceanic Ridge has always been the dominant tectonic feature. It is cut by WNW-ESE fracture zones which originated early in the history of the basin and now bear evidence of the directions of early crustal movements.
