Abstract
Physospermum Cusson ex Juss. is a small genus of Apiaceae that is represented in Turkey by only one species, P. cornubiense (L.) DC. In this study, the morphological, micromorphological, and anatomicalproperties of P.cornubiense were investigated and themorphological findings were compared with the description in Flora of Turkey and the East Aegean Islands . Some differences between our studyand the description in Flora of Turkey and the East Aegean Islands are presented, as well as flowering time, a distribution map, and the photos of natural habitat. Also, the pollen characteristics and the mericarp surface of P. cornubiense were examined using a Scanning Electron Microscope. In addition, its fruit anatomy was studied for the first time in detail.
