Abstract

The preposition chez in French is not a locative pronoun, but a latin lexeme casa has been grammaticalized as a morpheme. In the same way, the southern Japanese dialect chikugo was able to create a single morpheme -geɴ « at (to) the house of - » by tracing some morphosyntactic processes. On this preposition, we ask ourselves some questions. What is the spatial relationship between man and his domestic space treated by the syntax of language? What is the total morphosyntactic landscape of this morpheme? Through this text, we describe the complexity of the processes of grammaticalization of a morpheme from a lexeme « house ».
