Abstract

A 3-year-old boy was only able to see the number of fingers held in front of his face with his right eye, while he had 20/20 vision in the left eye. On retinoscopy, he was myopic in the right eye and had a normal refraction in the left eye. The right eye exhibited a morning glory disc anomaly (Fig A) while the left optic disc was normal (Fig B).
