Abstract

AbstractThe resolution of coordinate measuring machines with computed tomography sensor must be adequate for the measurement task at hand. To achieve a high resolution, machine components such as X‐ray source and detector as well as the location of the workpiece must be considered. With proper matching, both measurements of micro‐geometries in dense metal workpieces and high cycle speeds with high resolution are possible.
