Abstract

We publish here a rather unusual article. Unusual in more than one sense. It is a translation of the original in Telugu, yet unpublished. The authoress is Ranganayakamma, a Telugu writer. The translator is 'Gandhi', a teacher of Linguistics in an Andhra University. Neither is a China specialist as far as we know. But, obviously, both have been following and studying develop ments in China with more than ordinary interest. Which is commendable. We publish it mainly for its documentary value.—EDITOR
