Abstract

In the August 2010 issue of Journal of European Radiology, Rasalkar et al. described the radiographic feature of one uncommon inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor (IMT) of the bladder [1]. As radiologist, we are also interested in the image of IMT of the bladder. In 1980, Roth firstly reported IMT of the bladder [2]. Since then, a few cases of IMT of the bladder have been reported. With the steady studies, the clinical and pathological features in IMT of the bladder have been partly recognized. However, there has been consistently dilemma existing both in diagnosis and therapy because of the similarity between IMT and sarcoma in clinical and pathological appearance [1,3–6].
