Moratorium on health checks: myth or reality?

Abstract

In this article, the authors focus on the concept of a moratorium, establish regulations defining and regulating the procedure for compliance with these actions. It describes the introduction of additional requirements for the activities of medical institutions, certain conditions for the organization of internal quality control and safety of medical activities, as well as provisions for the training of medical personnel. Among other things, the issues of a moratorium on carrying out control measures of a planned nature in relation to healthcare institutions are being investigated. The authors also consider the issue of approaches to compliance with the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 336 of10.03.2022 by Roszdravnadzor of the Russian Federation for the period 2022. Moreover, the measures of internal quality control and safety of activities within the framework of the moratorium on external scheduled inspections for the period 2022 in relation to medical institutions are presented, the tasks of the measures being implemented are defined.
