Abstract

Abstract: Gifted adolescents were selected by intelligence tests and creativity tests. From a sample of 370 15‐ to 17‐year‐olds, the highest 10% were given tests of logical reasoning and interviewed about moral dilemmas and values. Results indicated that the creative gifted give more original solutions to the dilemmas, because “they”; refer to the complexity of different perspectives. The average and low subjects often showed more altruistic and humanitarian values while the gifted were higher in need for achievement and success.
