Abstract
With the development of information technology, a new generation of global education model changes. The massive open online courses (Massive Open Online Courses, MOOCs) becomes a new trend of online education, it is not only free of charge and is open to the public, so the traditional online education compared to attract more learners. Teachers can freely through MOOCs setup the courses on the platform, and efficiently grasp of students’ learning conditions. In addition, students can autonomously elective courses according to their own needs. Based on previous researches have shown, the completion rates of MOOCs courses compared to traditional online courses were low, only with less than 10% of students completed all tasks in MOOCs. Therefore, this situation is making MOOCs to appear "high enrollment rates, but low completion rate" issue, and then show the bottleneck of the validity of MOOCs. In this research, we want to investigate the continuance intention the MOOCs and learning willingness of students and focus on the efficiency and sustainability of the MOOCs. In the past, there were few researches aimed at continuance intention of Taiwanese students. Therefore, this research will identify whether the possible factors can influence the continuance intention to use the MOOCs, and the results can provide as a reference to the online learning corporates to design and implement the online learning system more powerful, and enhance the learning effectiveness and continuance intention.
