Abstract

In this work, we examined the magnetic properties and magnetocaloric effect of mixed-spin 3/2 and 1 of the polyphenylene dendrimers using the Monte Carlo method. We discuss the ground state phase diagrams at zero temperature in detail. We also establish the reduced critical temperature to vary the reduced crystal field and reduced exchange interaction Rss. The influence of the reduced exchange couplings Rss, Rσσ, and the reduced crystal field on the total magnetizations and the magnetic hysteresis loop is also explored. The heat-specific (Cp), heat-specific changes (ΔCp), magnetic entropy changes (-ΔSm), and adiabatic temperature changes (ΔTa) versus the reduced temperature under the impact of distinct reduced external magnetic fields have been explained. Finally, we analyzed the relative cooling power of a variety of reduced external magnetic fields.
