Abstract

Monte Carlo study has been made on a triangular Ising lattice with antiferromagnetic nearest neighbor and ferromagnetic next nearest neighbor interactions. Our data suggest that a new phase may exist in the system, which is a generalization of the partially disordered antiferromagnetism associated with the sublattice switching.
