Abstract

A stochastic lung model and a computer code based on it have been developed for the calculation of inhalation, deposition, and exhalation of aerosol particles in human lungs. This stochastic model reflects the variability of the structural components of the lung. The structure of the model, the features of the computer program, the required input data and some illustrative preliminary results are presented in this paper.
