Abstract
A new species of the genus Monosyntaxis Swinhoe, 1901, Monosyntaxis hollowayi sp. n. is described from the southern island of Borneo (South Kalimantan Province of Indonesia). The diagnostic comparison is made with M. trimaculata (Hampson, 1900), M. holmanhunti Hampson, 1914 and M. affinis Rothschild, 1912. Adults of both sexes and male and female genitalia are illustrated.
