Abstract
The patient watched electrical welding for about eight minutes at a distance of four or five feet, without protective glasses. A double ophthalmia, complicated by cloudy vision of the right eye, left as terminal conditions several retinal lesions and an atrophic nerve head; and the vision of this eye was almost entirely lost. The literature of the subject is reviewed, and the pathology discussed. Read before the tenth “Congres des medecins de langue francaise de l'Amerique du Nord”, Quebec, September, 1928.
