Abstract
Two monoclonal antibodies, LICR-LON-32.2 (32.2) and LICR-LON-14.1 (14.1), are described which react with human casein. 32.2 reacts with human β-casein and 14.1 with human K-casein. 32.2 also reacts with rat band 2 casein and bovine β-casein, but 14.1 appears to be specific for human K-casein. These monoclonal antibodies do not cross-react with other milk proteins.
