Abstract

The tasks of “on-line” assessment of the state of friction pairs of high-power power plants are considered. They are based on the use of clusters (groups) of original single-coil eddy-current sensors. It is proposed to use the information about the presence of wear particles in the lubrication system of the power plant and the axial displacement of the shaft in a radial thrust bearing as the main monitored parameters. A brief description of the methods for obtaining the information about the desired parameters and the tools that implement them is provided.
