Abstract

At present conditions on our country, the monitoring of consumers supplied from the electricity distribution networks represents an essential instrument for substantiation of the infrastructure development strategies of electricity distribution operators. A better understanding of the electricity consumption characteristics of different consumers, the structure and operating state optimization of public distribution networks corroborated with the quality improvement of the supply service must lead to an adequate management of electricity consumption. Thus, a complex consumption monitoring system (load curves of the consumers and the main indicators that characterize these load curves) is created and presented in the paper, a system based on Alpha three-phase counters. In order to test this complex monitoring instrument, at the paper end, are presented the extracted and processed results with the help of the monitoring system specialized application at a tertiary consumer (hotel), supplied from the public electricity distribution networks.
