Monitoring of pollution of the Black Sea coastal zone

Abstract

The results of hydrochemical studies carried out within th framework of the integrated scientific expedition “Black Sea 2022” and devoted to the study of the coastal zone of the sea on the basis of monitoring observations are presented. The assessment of the content of man-made pollutants in the water and bottom sediments of the coastal zone of the Black Sea in the Gelendzhik region was carried out. Quantitative estimates of the level of pollutants were obtained using the example of Gelendzhik and Blue Bays. A list of parameters whose concentrations exceed the permissible MPC standards in 2022 has been established.
