Abstract

of available official statistical information, monitoring of indices of the regional tourist market and estimation of tourist attractiveness of the regions of Ukraine. Estimation of tourist attractiveness on the basis of statistics implies the formation of group indices of tourist potential of the region, the development of tourist infrastructure and tourist comfort of the region and takes into account the proposed basic partial statistical indices. According to the results of comparative interregional analysis of tourist attractiveness of the regions, conducted on the basis of statistical information, it is concluded that tourist attractiveness of the regions is determined not only by the unique natural-geographical landscape and cultural and historical destinations, but also by the level of the development of tourist infrastructure and tourist comfort, which cannot be reached at the proper level of tourist attraction or even threatened to lose tourists' loyalty. In order to find optimal ways to increase the attractiveness of problem regions, it is necessary to supplement the quantitative statistical analysis of the attractiveness of the region with a more detailed qualitative assessment, which provides the justification and addition of criteria and involvement of its experts in the procedure. Monitoring of indices of the regional tourist market and estimation of tourist attractiveness of the region allows to form group indices of individual differential attractiveness traits for each target audience and on this basis to calculate integral attractiveness indices, which allow to draw interregional comparisons and conclusions about strong and weak positions differences between different types of attractiveness of the region.
