Abstract

In this chapter, you will learn how to monitor network connectivity from within your AIR application. Network connectivity is the physical (wired or wireless) connection to a computer network, like the internet or an office network. Monitoring your network connection comes in very handy when you are using online resources in your AIR application, like an XML file, images, or a web service. AIR applications react differently depending on whether or not a network connection is available.KeywordsNetwork ConnectivityNetwork ConnectionUser AgentText FieldSocket ConnectionThese keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
