Abstract

The article examines the complex economic and political situation that developed during the Civil War in the South of Russia. Analysis of existing works on the monetary issue of this territory is carried out, the completeness of these studies is determined. Source studies and comparative methods of analysis of factual material are used. The conclusion is made about the instability of the existing monetary system due to the lack of a unified command among the white movement and the presence of numerous political and emission centers.
